The Tag Placement Workgroup has been launched as a result of the expanded use of RFID. The workgroup will update the RFID tag placement guideline to include additional product categories. The kickoff meeting was on February 21st and the work is expected to conclude by July of 2024, meeting at least once a month in the interim. For more information contact Jonathan Gregory, Director, Global Standards at [email protected].

Attention Loyalty Program Owners, POS Professionals, and Traceability Experts: GS1 US has been leading research and pilots that have helped confirm various use cases that could benefit from a standard digital receipt format supported by GS1 identifiers and GS1 Digital Link.
