 Cross-Industry RFID Discussion Group

The Cross-Industry RFID Discussion Group recently examined the complementary relationship between GS1 and the RAIN Alliance, highlighting topics such as market growth, traceability, and sustainability.  The group also enjoyed an in-depth presentation on Michelin’s use of RFID in tires, with a look at the standards, change management, and value add that the technology brings. Our next meeting will be in person at GS1 Connect on the morning of Tuesday, June 4th.  This will provide a cross-industry update, highlighting newly released tools for the industry and the nascent use of the new tag data standard in healthcare via panel discussion.
